Whew! Back In The Game!

Thanks so much for your patience while we solved this issue! The good news is: the situation is resolved and the BackerKit surveys are ready for you!

For your info: the problem was caused by Backerkit having adjusted their internal system at some point between when the add-ons were initially imported and today when we hit send. This wasn't apparent on our end (or even in the thorough review phase), but Backerkit has fixed this for us: they've removed all duplicate KS add-ons from everyone's cart, and will be sending a message out in the next few minutes to folks who have already completed their surveys that they will need to re-confirm their KS add-ons. 

Anyone who DID complete your surveys already will need to go back through and confirm those add-ons to assure you are not charged. Feel free to do this at this link below:

Anyone who hasn't filled out their survey should be able to use the original link and make it happen! Please let us know if you encounter any other strangeness and we'll make sure it gets fixed.

Hi all - Just a quick update that we are receiving tons of reports of the BackerKit attempting to double-charge for add-ons. Please stand by while we resolve this issue and do not complete your survey.

BackerKit Surveys are LIVE!

WE'RE LIVE!

The entire WIFWULF team is so thrilled to announce that our BackerKit surveys are now live and being sent to the entire wolf pack today. Keep an eye on your inbox and help us make sure you get your well-deserved WIFWULF goodies! Thanks so much to our partners at Vault Comics for their management of this fulfillment - and apologies to all of you that it has taken as long as it has. The book is off to print and release is nigh!

These surveys will allow you to change your shipping address, add goodies to your pledge, and otherwise make sure you're getting exactly what you backed.

Please note that shipping and handling are being billed at cost - prices for both have skyrocketed since the COVID-19 pandemic and while we had hoped that our delays would help bring those prices down, we can only do so much. We (and our fulfillment partners) are doing all of this as cost, so while the current price of shipping is high, we have passed every possible savings on to you.

A few other small things to note as you complete your survey:

• The Kickstarter Exclusive version of WIFWULF will only be available to backers, but if friends of the pack want to order their own, they can get the non-exclusive Vault Retail version on the store page. So feel free to share with non-backers, there's goodies in here for them, too. (Just not your goodies, naturally).
• Russian backers: we are currently unable to ship to Russia due to US federal regulation. We advise that you send us a proxy address that we can deliver to, then arrange transport yourself from there. Feel free to get in touch with us directly if you have any questions or would like to find another way to make sure WIFWULF makes it to you.
• For those with custom pieces - from portraits to short fiction - we'll be in touch as soon as surveys are complete to get details and start work on your special pledge rewards.
• We love y'all and we're so thankful for your patience. This is less of a note and more of a "thing we thought you should know."

Again: thank you to everyone who helped us make this weird and wonderful dream a reality. We cannot wait for you to hold the book in your hands and howl with us.

WIFWULF Update: Jan-Feb 24!

Hello, Wolf Pack! 

Dailen here, just scooting in with some updates and news! We finally have a book market release date, April 24th, and that means things will begin moving much faster from here on out. We think it's finally safe to get excited—yaaayy!! 

And on our end, that means there's some business to attend to. For starters, I (Dailen) will be in touch very soon with higher tier backers about ink drawings and commissions! These will be sent out separately from your other rewards—directly from me, as I feel that the less time they spend in the mail, the better. 

In the meantime, Vault is in charge of the surveys and they've informed us that they're working around the clock to get them out. They've promised that you will receive your rewards before the book's release date on April 24th—to help them along, make sure you fill out your surveys as soon as you're able, when you receive them! 

At the same time, Vault is handling lots of marketing ahead of the book's release in the coming months, so here's a delicious tidbit: a first look into the beginning of the book via AIPT! Have you seen some of the other buzz we've started on social media? If you're around, feel free to celebrate with us! We can't wait to hear what you think of the book, when it finally arrives in your hands. 

Finally, another note to all of our wonderful backers: 

WIFWULF was this team's first ever Kickstarter, and is the first time we've ever worked with a publisher like this, at this scale. We want to thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for sticking it out with us all this time—especially during the frustrating parts. This campaign went larger and farther than we ever dreamed, and adjusting to the scale on the fly has presented challenges we didn't anticipate. But we can't even begin to describe how much we appreciate you, and how much your excitement for WIFWULF is making our dreams come true. We hope that when you open this book, you'll see our appreciation for you on every single page. 

And, above all, we hope you're ready to howl.

Finally... A Release Schedule

Howling Into April 2024

First off: the entire WIFWULF team would like to thank you all for your patience as we near the finish line. Though the book itself is finished and has been for several months, there have been several unforeseen delays on the production side that have kept us from being able to fulfill our end of the bargain on the timeline we initially anticipated. Moreover, this left us unable to say specifically when the book would be released, as the timeline slipped due to circumstances out of the creative team's control.

For this, we're very sorry - but in coordination with our incredible partners at Vault Comics, we're excited to be able to confidently give you all a timeline for the fulfillment of WIFWULF.

Backers will receive BackerKit surveys in January / February of 2024, with the book printing in March and shipping out to backers ASAP alongside all of your rewards. This is to ensure that you receive your copies before the book goes to the mass market through Vault in April 2024.

So, rest assured, you will have WIFWULF and all your rewards by April - before the book is available to anyone else. 

When those BackerKit surveys are sent, you'll be able to update your address and rewards there - meaning if you can increase your order or change where the book is going at your discretion.

And then, in April 2024, you'll be able to direct all friends and family to their local comics shop or bookstore to pick up their own copy of WIFWULF - and we can all howl together once again.
